Follow the 2013 Jesolo Trophy Meet This Weekend!

The 2013 Jesolo Trophy Competition will take place this weekend in Italy! Competition will once again be highlighted by a strong U.S. women's team. This annual friendly competition is one of Team USA's few international assignments each year aside from World Championships. 2013 SEC Awards Announced; Rheagan Courville Gymnast of the Year

The 2013 SEC gymnastics awards were released Friday afternoon on the eve of the 2013 SEC Gymnastics Championships in North Little Rock. LSU’s Rheagan Courville was named SEC Gymnast of the Year. Bridget Sloan of Florida was named SEC Freshman of the Year while Rhonda Faehn (Florida) garnered SEC Coach of the Year honors. UCLA ties season high score to Defeat Arkansas on Senior Night

The eighth-ranked UCLA Bruins tied their season high team score to defeat number 15 Arkansas in their final regular season home meet in Pauley Pavilion.    The Bruins pulled away in the final rotation thanks to a 49.550 on floor to match the 197.425 they scored January 12th while hosting Utah. Georgia Scores Season-High 197.80 to Win At NC State

The sixth-ranked Georgia gymnastics team used a season-high score and the second-highest road mark of any team this year to defeat NC State in the regular season finale, 197.800-196.000 Sunday afternoon at Reynolds Coliseum.   The Gym Dogs turned in their highest regular season road score since a 197.825 at Alabama in 2004 and a 49.625 on the balance beam, which ties the second-highest mark in program history.   "This was huge for our confidence," said UGA coach Danna Durante. After the March Women's National Team Camp at the USA Gymnastics Training Center at the Karolyi Ranch, an official U.S. Olympic Training Site, USA Gymnastics has selected eight women, who will represent Team USA the next two weeks at events in Italy and Germany. 2013 U.S. Classic: Same City, Different Venue

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., March 12, 2013 — For the fourth straight year, the Chicago area will play host to the final qualifying event for women's gymnastics for the U.S. Gymnastics Championships, which determines U.S. champions and national team members.
