Aly Raisman Finished Fourth on Dancing with the Stars

2012 Olympic team and floor exercise gold-medalist Aly Raisman and her partner Mark Ballas finished fourth in the 16th season of Dancing with the Stars.    Unfortunately, the disappointment of fourth place is familiar territory for Raisman. 2014 American Cup Goes to to Greensboro, NC

                   USA Gymnastics announced today that the AT&T American Cup will return to the east coast in 2014 with Greensboro, North Carolina as the host city.  Scheduled for March 1, 2014, the American Cup in an FIG World Cup featuring a small field of all around gymnasts. Gabby Douglas is Back in the Gym!

Gabby and mother Natalie Hawkins have returned to Iowa to resume training at Chow's Gymnastics and Dance. Elisabeth Seitz and Fabian Hambuchen Repeat at German Nationals

  Elisabeth Sietz and Fabian Hambuchen successfully defended their all around titles at the 2013 German National Championships in Manheim.  Seitz was a  uneven bars finalist at the 2012 London Olympics and placed fourth in the all around at this year's American Cup. Seitz scored a  55.199 to earn her fourth consecutive National title.  Lisa Katharina Hill  finished second in the all around with a score of 54.564 followed by Kim Bui with a score of 54.032.    Fabian Hambuchen earned a ...

2013 British Team Championships

It was an exciting weekend for British Gymnastics as the best in the UK competed for team glory. Gymnasts represented their club teams and the ladies from the Academy topped the podium with a 156.050. Plenty of big names participated in the competition including UCLA Bruin, Danuisa Francis, who placed second with her team from Heathrow scoring a 155.00. USA Developmental Camp Recap

The latest Team USA Developmental Camp has concluded at the Ranch with Simone Banen of North Stars Gymnastics taking top honors in physical abilities testing.  The developmental camps are for emerging elites and are led by newly named Development Team Coordinator Valeri Liukin. Jordyn Wieber Honored with Nadia Comaneci Sportsmanship Award

The honors keep coming for Jordyn Wieber! On May 18 the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame (IGHOF) will present the World and Olympic Champion with the "Nadia Comaneci Sportsmanship Award". Well deserved.  The Nadia Comaneci Sportsmanship Award honors a currently competitive or recently retired gymnast from around the world who has demonstrated great sportsmanship or fair play.           2012 Olympic Champion Aly Raisman and her partner Mark Ballas have advanced to the finals on "Dancing with the Stars"! "Team RaisNBall" as they're nicknamed will join three other celebrities in the finals: football player Jacoby Jones, actress Zendaya Coleman, and country singer Kellie Pickler.  Aly and Mark performed two dances during week nine. Tim McNeill Steps Down at Cal

Former U.S. National Team Member and NCAA Champion Tim McNeill will be stepping down as head coach of the Cal-Berkeley men's gymnastics program after three seasons. McNeill was selected as the surprise leader of the Bears after long-time Coach Barry Weiner’s retirement along with the resignation of assistant coach Aaron Floyd in 2010 when the program was in jeopardy of being dropped.  After a massive fundraising effort throughout 2010 and 2011, the program has continued.
