  After a weekend of record coverage here at Gymnastike, about 900 videos from 8 different meets across the country, we have even more planned. The next big meet featured on gymnastike will be the 2010 Northern Lights Classic hosted by the Twin City Twisters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In just 2 weeks, Gymnastike will be up in Colorado Springs at the beautiful Broadmoor World Resort providing coverage of the 2010 Pikes Peak Cup hosted by the Colorado Aerials. Every year the Pikes Peak Cup hosts top club teams from around the nation at this prestigious meet for Optional girls. This year's competition will be made up of top teams coming from 10 different states around the US. We are happy to welcome gymnast Isabel Earl to the gymnastike network. Isabel is a first year level 10 gymnast who trains at Capital Gymnastics in Texas under coaches Barry Hyder and Van Wright. Last season as a level 9, Isabel was the Regional All Around and uneven bars Champion for Region 3. Isabel is excited about her first season of level 10 and is working towards the opportunity to compete for a college team.  Check out Isabel's website to learn more about her. USAG has announced that Kevin Mazeika will be the new National Team Coordinator for the U.S. Men. Since the announcement that Ron Brandt would be stepping down as National Team Coordinator to accept a position at the USOTC, the search began for a new leader responsible for overall management and supervision of the technical aspects of the Men's National Team for both junior and senior elite programs.   Mazeika has been Head Coach of the U.S Men for the past 2 Olympic Games where for the first time in history, the U.S. Men won team medals in back-to-back Olympics.  He… more »

USA Gymnastics has announced the team members that will represent the US at the 2009 Pan American Games in Aracaju, Brazil from November 4-9. Over the past year, Gymnastike has developed a web platform with its in-house programming team. Through tedious hours of trial and error, critique from coaches and athletes, and trying to reinvent the media coverage possibilities for gymnastics, we have a platform that we are excited about. The basic components of this platform: simple video uploading and sharing, an easy to operate content management system, and straightforward video production methods. This has allowed us at Gymnastike to do more coverage with a few people and hundred dollar cameras, than many media giants can do with hundreds of people and million dollar… more »

The California State - Fullerton gymnastics team is in jeopardy and hosting a special event on December 13, 2009 in order to raise furnds for the program.  Are you a college gym fan?
