Tim McNeill Joins the Gymnastike Network

Over the past year, Gymnastike has developed a web platform with its in-house programming team. Through tedious hours of trial and error, critique from coaches and athletes, and trying to reinvent the media coverage possibilities for gymnastics, we have a platform that we are excited about.

The basic components of this platform: simple video uploading and sharing, an easy to operate content management system, and straightforward video production methods. This has allowed us at Gymnastike to do more coverage with a few people and hundred dollar cameras, than many media giants can do with hundreds of people and million dollar budgets.

We got to thinking, and believed that many in the community could benefit from this technology, and we could support what we do by building sites for those in the community.

Yesterday was an exciting day in that we launched our first elite athlete site for the network. It wasn't with just any elite gymnast, but with 2009 World Championship Team Member Tim McNeill. With this site, Tim will have the ability to upload and share videos with the gymnastics community at will.

Visit Tim's Website to follow him in London at his first World Championships, and on his journey to the 2012 Olympics. He's already written his first blog and plans to add more videos and other content soon.

If you like what you see and would be interested in a website, whether you are an individual, organization, meet, or business please contact us at support@gymnastike.org for more information.

Congrats....   October 9, 2009 at 2:36pm
Your contributions to spreading the spirit of gymnastics is exactly what young gymnasts need. As a teacher, I see the lack of drive and direction in many of our youth. Your coverage can be a powerful catalyst for generations of our youth. I like both Tim-Mcneill and Lark Poklandniks' sites. Well Done!!!
