Dearest Rita - I'm an avid fan of the sport of gymnastics and all the life lessons that it brings along with it but from time to time I do realize how brutal is sport can be...especially on such young girls. I admire the strength of your daughter to pull herself together and to compete just 2 days after a part of her dream fell apart. She is such a strong and brave young woman and it becomes obvious after reading your blogs where she has gotten these beautiful traits from! I hope that one day when I have a daughter that I will be able to nurture and raise my kid to become as gracious, fearless, and yet humble of a person as you have done with Jordyn. God bless and thank you for sharing your journey and your thoughts! |

Oh Rita.... you are so funny. What a great sense of humor you have. You are so relateable as a mother. I know that Jordyn's experience may not have been exactly what she wanted but I know that she will come away from this forever changed for the better. Sometimes God has a different plan than we see for ourselves, but if we could see into the future we would understand "why" and we would ALWAYS choose His plan over our own plans and it would make sense. He is a mighty good God we serve and I know she has inspired so many and she is so amazingly humble. I see why she is such a wonderful young lady... she has a wonderful mother and support system in her family and in her fans. Our family will continue to be inspired by Jordyn and "Her Story" and we will continue to pray for all of yall...praying especially for "the floor routine of a lifetime for Jordyn" in the event finals. We love you Jordyn. ~Jones Family |

Absolutely loved this! Rita, you are a peach! What a great sense of humor and down-to-earth attitude you have! I'm so glad you and your family are truly enjoying the Olympic experience! Those memories of peas and the lack of trash cans will last a lifetime! (I'm pretty sure you'll remember the gold medal, too!) :) |

my biggest observation vewing this from afar is Jordyn coming back two days after a huge disappointment to have a super attitude and enjoying herself! an accomplishment grander than a gold medal in my book. a congrats to you Mrs. Weiber. I give you a "10" e score and a "8.8" d score. Golden all the way. |

Love to Wieber, Jo!
Oh these Games! ...One of my absolute favorite moments of London 2012 is Jordyn Wieber nailing
that first vault of the team finals! She started it all...!
She's Golden! They all are!
Tell her, remind her, she started it off! Set the tone in Team Finals! The first Gold... And it just
continued!
