Bring on the '09 Season!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years and is now recovering from staying up all night! Now that 2009 is actually here it's time to get super excited about the upcoming season and all the great gymnastics it will bring! I'll be all over the place covering meets and can't wait! I got to cover my first event a couple weeks ago, The Valeri Liukin Invitational at WOGA, and absolutely loved it. I'm in the process now of deciding which meets to attend in 09 and am open to your suggestions. If you are a coach who has a really cool meet you'd like to show off, a gymnast competing in some big meets, or just know of some great meets you think deserve some coverage, let me know!

2008 Valeri Liukin Invitational Highlights!

This was the 13th annual Valeri Liukin Invitational hosted by WOGA in Frisco, Texas. WOGA put on an excellent meet featuring athletes from six different countries around the world. Check out this weekend's highlights.

HNI... Houston national invitational... Is a great meet in Houston. My team has been competing there for many years and we've really enjoyed it. And there's lots of action from other countries which is really cool to watch.

I'd love to see some college meets!! I absolutely love your college coverage so far and I think you would do a much better job covering meets than espn does. They just don't know gymnastics. I'd love to see you out there!

Any meet you go to can probably use the coverage so the more the better. Fantastic job so far. Kudos!!

The MIGS meet at the University of Minnesota would be a good one. The purpose of the meet is to help raise money to bring men's gymnastics back at the college level.The meet will consist of club and NCAA gymnast. HNI is another good one.

I'm pretty sure the Great West Gym Fest in Coeur D'Alene, ID is supposed to be a big favorite, lots of theatrics and guest stars (plus some good gymnastics).

Cover the WOGA meets! Anywhere WOGA is is a big meet!

I'd say a good meet would be the West Point Open....but that is kinda close..Jan 16th and 17th

Or the ECAC Championships....they are also at West Point
