This workout was filmed November 11 as the Tigers gear up for the 2009 season. They're coming off a successful run last year, ranked as high as 12 nationally. They also accumulated some coaching awards last year as Head Coach Jeff Thompson was named Co-SEC Coach of the Year as well as Central Region Coach of the Year along with wife and fellow coach Rachelle Thompson. The Tigers are currently ranked 15th in the preseason coaches poll and are looking to secure a spot at the 2009 NCAA Championship.

I was wondering that too, but I just watched their locker room tour and their coach said that they switch off between leos and workout tops, and the girls choose what they wear each day, so they wear both

Why do some teams wear leotards and others (like this one) wear a tank top and shorts? Do the gymnasts get to decide? The coaches? It must be weird to wear a leotard in meets if you always wear a tank top in practice.
