Unfortunately, gymnasts don't get very long to capitalize on their fame. I think Shawn probably has chosen the opportunities that seem fun and allow her to make a little money. In 2 years, it's very likely to be someone else getting all the offers. As for her personality, I haven't noticed that much of a change, but I've never met her either. If I did, I don't think she'd cuss me out or anything. I guess it would depend on what I did, too. If you're late with her coffee, you better expect it!!!

shawn has been kind of a disappointment. she isn't back into the gym and has become one of those over-media-ed people with hollywood and all. i mean, she doesn't have to be in the gym but she has become kind of a fake. i used to like shawn better than nastia, but now nastia is a hands-down win.

i don't think she really has the motivation to get back in the gym......she seems kinda tentative

I heard she's gonna be on Dancing with the Stars! Guess that's what she was really getting back in shape for haha! I really hope she gets back in the gym after her dancing escapades. I'm starting to doubt it though...

shawn is such an amazing person, never stops smiling, and always has positive attitude. she is the best role model for all young women.

She's just loving the appearances and seems to love the sport, but not have the heart to go back and compete again. She was clearly the best girl of the last quad and it's an atrocity that Nastia who can't do a double back got the AA win.
