Gymdog Senior Courtney Kupets after finishing her final NCAA Championship. She capped off her career by breaking the NCAA Record for Career Individual Event titles. She now has a total of nine! 3 of them came tonight. Last night she led her team to their 5th NCAA Championship in a row.

I'm really going to miss seeing Courtney compete for Georgia, especially her floor and bars. She is on another level of gymnastics, definitely had it all! Good luck to her on whatever she is planning to do in the future!! :) |

I'm sure she didn't forget about the Olympics, but despite the fact that there is a team competition, the Olympics are still very individually-focused. I would imagine she was referring to the immense gratification of accomplishing something with a team she was completely invested in. On top of that, she was injured during the Olympics and probably didn't compete in the manner which would have been most ideal for her (although she was still a complete rockstar, in my opinion!). |

Not to mention she is the only collegiate gymnast to win all 5 individual national titles: AA (2006, 2007, 2009) |

Should have asked her if she would try for Worlds. Why not? School finishing up. No more need to save body for the team. Ankle was healed enough to win in college. Maybe going for Worlds would be fun. Heck, it would be more gymnastical than the college reduced difficulty stuff. |

She didn't tie the record, she broke the record. Jenny Hansen *only* had 8 titles. |

She is truly a legend, best NCAA gymnast ever I think. And she's so calm, like she didn't just completely dominate the world all season. |
