Over the past few years, the amount of NCAA programs for men's gymnastics has been drastically declining. Ron Brandt of USA Gymnastics talks about the state of men's NCAA gymnastics and what USAG is doing to create more opportunities for gymnasts to continue at the collegiate level.
The problem (and I don't know the solution) is the dying HS gymnastics. Wrestling, football, track, etc. all have significant athletes getting development from HS team. Gym is tough though with all the apparatus, not to mention pits (impossible for a HS).
