Check out Sneaky Cartwheels! This week's gymnastics technique video features Marvin Sharp, former coach of World Champion and Olympic silver medalist Bridget Sloan from Sharp's Gymnastics. Marvin shares a drill he invented to keep his gymnasts from hurdling with a locked leg into the cartwheel or round off. This drill can be used for both beam dismounts as well as the round off in yurchenko vaults.

Marv is a fabulous coach with very sound rationale for everything he teaches, plus he is super personable. I learned the 'sneaky cartwheel' from him and took it to my level 4/5s to help keep their center of mass trajectory flat for FX, and it has worked great.
