Those free hip drills are really good to do to get the girls to open. Thank-you for opening that video.

This is a great video on teaching/spotting a clear hip. Although, I do think he misses a couple important factors of a clear hip such as wrist rotation and the shoulder drop. Great Technique video otherwise! You should do one on bar pirouttes as well.

I like it and I don't like it. Seems excellent for teaching form and body position, but I also think this misses one of the most crucial parts of a clearhip: the aggressive drop back at the beginning. The thing that makes a clearhip a clearhip isn't the push at the end, it's the drop at the beginning.

I like the idea of starting by getting them behind the knees so you can guide them through the whole skill. That's a great first step to get gymnasts comfortable with the motion of going around the bar. good stuff!!
