Gymnastike Routine of the Week for February 9th, Oklahoma Senior Kristin Smith on floor from their tri meet at home with University of Nebraska and Texas Woman's University. After the Sooners had to count Kristin's fall on beam and with Big 12 Conference rival Nebraska on the verge of taking the lead, the Sooners rocked a huge 49.60 team score on floor exercise to end the night with a season high team score and an eventual #1 team ranking this week. Kristin's floor routine was the highest scoring routine of the night with a 9.95.

her legs crossed? show me a time when simone amanar or lilia podkopayeva or dominic moceanu or any other gymnast that didnt have her legs crossed in a twist.

Clearly there are some forms issues, but the routine itself is awesome. IMO probably one of the most unique routines in the NCAA.

this is well overscored,as far you can see in the video. her feet are flexed in her double pike, her legs crossed in her 2 1/2 twist (flat 0.1 deduction), her switch ring appears to not hit required shape and her wolf full is underrotated .

I actually agree with you.

I'm just not a fan of this routine. The music is boring, and the dance is honestly kind of ridiculous. Yes- she hit all three passes- but her feet were indeed flexed on the double pike, and she did cross her legs on the 2.5. The third pass was the only truly *pretty* pass.
This is nothing against Kristin at all- she is a great gymnast. I'm just not a fan of this routine as a whole.
