The alternates from each region or a 1st place winner of an event that did not qualify for JOs all compete at Nationals on Sunday. This is JO Nationals NIT. Allows the alternates to compete during the weekend and not just sit and wait.

Only the 1st alternates got the apparel. The 2nd alternates did not.

I saw from an earlier video of Sarah Grady, WGA Texans in Houston Texas that the JO NIT athletes now get the sweatshirt, capris, leo's and other apparel like the JO National athletes. That is is so nice. Last year the NIT athletes weren't even invited to the Banquet. That is awesome, thanks to whoever! They are all hard working athletes and deserve the coverage and the bling too!
