Each year after the Canadian Championships we schedule an advanced coaching clinic.
In this session the current National Coach does a brief overview of release moves and dismounts on Bars.
The demonstrator in red is 9yr-old Shallon Olsen from his club, the most talked about gymnast at the meet. Everyone was asking: "If Shallon does this much difficulty at age-9, can she survive to age-15 when eligible for Sr. competition?

not to be rude buut the reason char left was because gael tolf what happened at the gym, nic left because they mentally broke her, sky left because they treated her like a broken doll, brittany is at another gym because her coach refuses to talk to her after the injury and the list goes on..so to say not broken.. you need to see the girls and ask them what exactly happened in that gym and still goes on.. truly sad |

This is a good question! She's from the same gym as Brittany Rogers and Charlotte Mackie who were amazing when they were young, and now they are broken... We'll see.You also forgot Gael Mackie currently with NCAA at Utah- again not 'broken' |

I can't understand a word he is saying. Not sure if it is the sound quality o his thick accent to blame. |

So,he is gone as National Head Coach because of an overwhelming vote of non-confidence from the Canadian HP coaches. Good for them! |

This is a good question! She's from the same gym as Brittany Rogers and Charlotte Mackie who were amazing when they were young, and now they are broken... We'll see.Brittany is currently injured, but to say she is broken is untrue. She is still passionate about the sport and knows that she has received many benefits from being in gymnastics. Charlotte on the other hand, is neither injured nor broken. |

Wow, really. I thought Brittany and Charlotte made it all the way to Senior International Competition and competed for their country at World Championships and various Games. Maybe I'm mistaken. |

The gienger progression he uses with her is similar to what we saw in this video with Ryan Snider by introducing it first as a fly away to a stand on top of the bar: |
