First of all, I would like anybody to tell me the FULL transcript of what is being said. If you can, I will completely agree they are being "mean".

2. I heard one comment about a leap being wonky on the landing, which it was, but I also heard them say the tumbling was cute and compare to Shawn Johnson, now the guy didn't agree, but the comparison is still there.

3. The pole dancing comment is referring to the music, not Mykala's routine. I believe they are referring to how Mary Lee Tracy has used similar type music for her athletes. & let's be honest that is what that portion of the music sounds like.

4. We do not know for sure who is talking. From the voices I believe these are two high level region 5 coaches, not sure, but they may very well be qualified to make technical comments. Also, do we even know for sure the voices are behind the camera?? Could it not be people immediately in front, who had no connection to the person filming??

5. By judging these people, are you not being as judgmental as they are??

6. At the end of the day, can we not all just be happy that Mykayla put up a good routine, which we got to see because SOMEONE was filming??

Congratulations Mykayla!

love u mykayla 2 years ago

to those people leaving rude comments she's just 13 stop being so rude her rutine looks great she has a ton of power! And like you could do any better. So you guys who are leaving the rude comments just stop it's so cruel and disrespectful.

If you amateur commentators think you know so much, let's see you out there on the floor. No? How about coaching an elite athlete at a national competition? Judging VISAs? What, you aren't? Really. How easy it is to criticize from the stands... you're no true gymnastics fan if you rip apart a young athlete. If you know you are going to be posting your video online, do us all a favor and abide by that old rule- if you can't say something nice...keep your mouth shut!

How unnecessary and rude were the comments!!! How much time in the gym..... How much commitment.......
How awesome it is to work very hard and have all your efforts pay off and make it to this spectacular event.

WOW 2 years ago

Well this is really sad! she is a really cute girl and an amazing gymnast! Who else is throwing a double double? Last i remember its the coach that teaches theses dance skill and makes up the routine... so how could you rip on a little girl. she rocks way to go mykayla!

really? 2 years ago

It is one thing to comment on this routine saying she has a "wonky" leap, but to talk about pole dancing is completely immature. Mykayla is 13, come on, grow up,

The comments are uncalled for and immature, is cinmom an adult or just a plain nasty, mean and ignorant juvenile.
Grow up and appreciate the effort and skill

to A Fan of Mykayla Just watch - she'll be in the olympics some day. WOW, are you in your mind?

As someone who knows Mykayla personally, I was also a bit shocked by the remarks. Mykayla has a lot of supporters and there is a good chance that someone could have been near them. She has improved tremendously within the past two years and this girl is definitely going places. Just watch - she'll be in the olympics some day. :)

I agree on the comments. Its one thing to say what is wrong with the routines, even that could be kept until after taping the routine, but its also another thing to make rude remarks and than laugh at the routine.

cinmom 2 years ago

I actually like the comments, I found them funny and TRUE, well, let's people talk, they are not judging just talking...

are you in elementary school? 2 years ago

Here is the thing with your comments. It would be one thing if you were making these while watchikng a tv broadcast from home but to do it in public like that... what if her family members/friends/club mates are around you in the stands? And if you say you would still say the same things then I have zero respect for you.

Impressive tumbling! Lacks flexibility, though and her dance in general needs work. With some polishing, I think she could be a star!

hate the talking 2 years ago

the comments in the back round are just straight up rude. Mykayla is at her first nationals give her a break and stop criticizing every single dance skill someone does.
