This week's gymnastics workout video comes from the elite team at Texas Dreams Gymnastics. Coaches Chris Burdette and Kim Zmeskal-Burdette will have 6 gymnasts representing Texas Dreams next week in Hartford at the 2010 US Championships. They have 5 junior elite qualifiers: Kennedy Baker, Dare Maxwell, Claire Boyce, Ashton Kim, and Peyton Ernst (Kiana Winston qualified but won't compete due to injury). Their lone senior elite is former national team member Chelsea Davis who will be competing in her first major national competition since the 2008 Olympic Trials. Watch how former World Champion and Olympian Kim Zmeskal-Burdette prepares her athletes for US Nationals, a meet she herself has won numerous times.

Gymnastike will be bringing you coverage from Hartford all next week!

I absolutely love to watch Kim work: almost as much as I love her gymnastics!

It's sort of difficult to see how fast they truly are going (especially when doing their dismounts and twisting skills), as well as how flexible they actually are when they do their leaps. They are such amazing gymnasts! They're so cool to watch.

Bekah- The girl at 1:44 and 1:53 is Rebecca Fuselier. I'm pretty sure the other girl is Grace Quinn, possibly Colbi Flory.

I am obsessed with this workout wednesday! AND I'm so incredibly happy for chelsea for making the World team! Thanks gymnastike for giving us a look at these hard working athletes and coaches off the competition floor

Love those girls. What great basics and gymnastics they have! Original stuff too! One thing I'm curious about: do they always hug the coaches at the end of every practice? It almost looked like neither the coaches nor the girls wanted to! Just wondering where that ritual came from or if it is a ritual.

This is the first gymnastics I have really seen of any TGD girls and I am really impressed. Chelsea looks fantastic and there are some other really great gymnasts on that team. Kim is my favorite gymnast of all time and I would love for her gym to be very successful at Nationals.

Just shows you don't have to be short to be a fantastic gymnast. She is amazing. Great lines. I hope she makes the National team.

Sad to hear that Haworth is not going the elite route, her gymnastics is so pretty to watch! I beleive that's also her in the video doing the double stag handstand piroutee on beam, love that mount! I'm sure she'll be a great NCAA gymnast! So happy to see Chelsea back too, I wish she was hanging around for 2012 and then going to georgia. Great video and lots of promissing girls. I agree Dare is a also a great gymnast to watch, nice lines!

Katelyn is not doing elite? She competed earlier this year at elite meets.. I just thought maybe she was injured or something.

cool! anyone know who's the little one in the black and green leo? she's pretty good. and glad to hear nica moved, aogc was great but texas dreams is really getting talented little ones.

Adriene Miller moved to Lv 9 this last season. it could be her younger sister your talking about named Kortnee Miller. and its funny cause when Kim is talking Adriene is doing her floor routine in the background! thats her music! they both are wonderful gymnasts and cant wait to see them this next season!
