Yep, anyone can compete. The membership isn't expensive at all - it was maybe $15. The meet registration is more costly, though. Hope to see you at a meet! :)

To Izabow:

To the best of my understanding, anyone can do the AAU meets in the adult division as long as you have an AAU membership, which is not a very big cost. Adults don't have to qualify for the Junior Olympic Games, as far as I know, we can just register and compete!

Me and one other girl from my gym are going to do it, it's in August in New Orleans.

I have a question: I too am 25 and wish to compete, but can't because of my age...could you tell me what competition this is and how you become eligible for it? I'd really appreciate it; I sick of working hard and never getting to compete ^^; I'll check back here later to see if you got a chance to reply. Thanks again!
