This week's gymnastics workout video features 2011 World Champion and 2012 USA Gymnastics Olympic team hopeful Aly Raisman of Brestyan's American Gymnastics in Massachusetts. Raisman is coming off a fantastic 2011 season, leading team USA to the World Championships gold medal, finishing 4th all around, and winning an individual world bronze medal on floor. Watch for Raisman at the 2012 AT&T American Cup in March, and follow her on her journey to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Her bars have improved so much in the last few years!

Love Aly but... 3 months ago

for the love of god if she is going to represent us as a country can someone PLEASE fix her arms and wrists/hands/fingers?!?!

she's powerful, consistent, and fun to watch do the acrobatics but I can't stand watching her arms and fingers. If she can improve her scores will go up, especially on floor.

@anonymous Where she fits in on the world team?
She is the 3rd best floor worker in the World
She is the 4th best beam worker in the World
She is the 4th best All Around gymnast in the World
She is a great leader and has upgraded her vault to a YT2½.
The only place where she wouldn't fit in is bars and she knows that and is working on it!!

Love the double Arabian front layout! Looks awesome!

she's great at consistency but the international judges destroy her on execution, flexibility, artistry, etc. it's hard to see where she fits into an olympic team if others are healthy... we can use her bars, vault is questionable, and everyone else does just fine on beam and floor.

Alicia has been doing her rehab at a facility in Denver near where her boyfriend lives (he's a football player, Tim Tebow's backup actually). But she should coming back to training gymnastics full time with Breystan really soon if she hasn't already.

Where's Alicia? Don't they train together, or is Alicia still injured? I've always liked this Aly Raisman. Her voice when she speaks is as even keeled as she is in competition.

GO Aly!! She is awesome.

I like how she actually admits that she thinks about the olympics every day. Finally some honesty!

LOVE the double arabian-front layout. So cool to see the juxtaposition of the quick-flipping tuck to the floaty layout.

so excited for her for this year. Girl's gotta point them toes though! She still looks awesome & I think she's a great role model for attitude & mental focus.
