In week's gymnastics technique video, Coach Ed Burch shows gymnastike a drill he uses to teach and perfect BIG tkatchev releases. His gymnast shown in the video is Tory Wilson who competes a tkatchev immediate gienger combination on uneven bars.
Burch was the coach of 1992 Olympic High Bar Gold Medallist Trent Dimas.

Kinda sounds like ya'll don't know who Ed is. Sure he's not perfect but pretty good creditals.

Interesting. However are any of his other girls able to do Tkactchevs with nice height like that (even though the rotation was clearly not that great). I ask because i do have to questions the effectiveness of the drill. Just because its a new way does means its a better way for sure.
Just wondering, but definitely something to think about it.
