Check out a practice day for elite gymnast, Casey Jo Magee, as she trains in pursuit of the 2012 US Olympic Trials. As a former collegiate gymnast, Magee is one of the most decorated gymnasts in Arkansas history. Upon graduation, Magee still had the urge to compete and qualified international elite. She competed last summer the the Visa Championships and has continued to upgrade and improve since then. In the fall of 2011, Magee joined Dave Kuzara's coaching staff at Western Michigan to serve as an assistant for the Broncos while training under Coach Kuzara. Magee will begin her summer competitive season this weekend at the American Classic elite qualifier at the Karolyi Ranch.

I love her gymnastics!! What's so wonderful about it is the flow, artistry and maturity she brings with her routines. It is lacking so much in today's gymnastics. I wish they could make two different age groups for nationals to encourage older gymnasts to continue on in the sport like her! I hope she make Trials so bad, what an accomplishment that would be for her!
