This new skill, swing forward straddle cut backward 1/2 turn to upper ams, has been submitted for evaluation at the recent Doha world cup.
I saw this linked on gymnasticscoaching.com.
Most people over there think the skill is ugly. It is rather awkward looking, but p bars in general could use some more variety. What do you think of the skill?

I would extent arms over the head and grab the bars coming to basket position and make kip up

Not much of a straddle in his straddle cut...and yeah it is kind of awkward. However, with some refinement could be a sweet looking skill.

I think that this will get a 'C' at best based on the fact that a full to upper arm without leg cut. I am not a big fan about this move only because I don't believe that it can be done any cleaner then this. With that said i like to see people trying new things and thinking outside the box.

I think it's cool! I don't think it's ugly, it's innovative! :)

very inventive! It's not an ugly skill especial if done with slightly better form.

This is a tippelt with 1/2 turn. Tippelt is a D, the Bhavsar is an E so my judges educated guess would be they would evaluate as a E but wouldnt be suprised if they say its a D. Would be a different box then tippelt so either value would still be beneficial if done cleaner and of course work out of it without a 3-5 tenth deduction for bent arms and another 5 for legs below the bar. Its is definitely interesting.
