Katelyn Ohashi of WOGA dominated the junior competition on day 1 of the 2011 Visa Championships with an impressive 60.950 all around score. She started on floor with a beautiful routine and posted the highest score of the day, 14.90 (6.90/9.0). On to vault she performed a double twisting yurchenko to score another 14.90. She had by far the highest scores of the meet on bars and floor. On bars, Ohashi scored 15.050 (6.20/8.85) for a routine that included a stuck double twisting double tuck dismount. She finished on beam with one of the best routines of her career, and the most difficult set on the US National team to score 16.100 (7.0/9.10).

PLEASE DON'T BURN OUT BEFORE 2016. She's so good. Her AA score is through the roof, and the beam was so beautiful. I hope she'll win it all!

she is so cute. She seems like a really nice, humble kid. Good luck to her tomorrow!! (And I wish she was going to be old enough to compete in the Olympics next year!!)

Omg she broke a 60 in the AA! She's a beast!! Hope she can continue to do as well in Day 2, that beam routine is insane! It made me cringe to hear her say that her toe ripped on beam, but she pulled off a flawless routine. Hope the toe feels better soon, good luck in Day 2 Katelyn!
