The qualification rounds at the 2011 World Gymnastics Championships concluded last night, and we are officially into finals in Tokyo! Before the first medals of the 2011 World Championships are awarded, let's take one last look back at those who stood atop the medal podium in Rotterdam in 2010.

On the women's side there will not be a repeat individual World Champion as each defending champion is either out with injury (Mustafina & Sacramone), or faltered in the preliminary competition and fell short of the final. On the men's side, all defending Champions but Eleftherios Kosmidis will have the opportunity to defend their titles in Tokyo.
