Alexandra Raisman led Team USA to the team gold medal here in Tokyo, but today she finally won her first individual World medal. She was 4th in the 2011 All Around final, and 4th place in today's beam final. Floor was her last opportunity and she hit her routine with big tumbling including a 1.5 twist through to double arabian, punch front to score a 15.00 which was good enough for Bronze. Ksenia Afanaseva of Russia won the gold, and Sui Lu of China took the silver.

I really like her and seeing a more normal side of her rather than the stoic persona she has on the podium. I still wish she would just relax, she seems so uptight in a way.

someone tell her when she's interviewing to not look into the camera and to look at who asked her the question. Also, someone please tell her to not say umm before you answer every question!

This is what we need more of, the happy, positive gymnast with a smile on their face and all the talent as well! So much fun to root for girls like Ali!! Good for you!!
