Workout Wednesday with 2012 Olympic Hopeful Aly Raisman at Brestyan's Gymnastics
This week's gymnastics workout video features 2011 World Champion and 2012 USA Gymnastics Olympic team hopeful Aly Raisman of Brestyan's American Gymnastics in Massachusetts. Raisman is coming off a fantastic 2011 season, leading team USA to the World Championships gold medal, finishing 4th all around, and winning an individual world bronze medal on floor. Watch for Raisman at the 2012 AT&T American Cup in March, and follow her on her journey to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Anna is coming off the 2012 Visa Championships where she placed 3rd on uneven bars, posting the highest start value of 6.90. Anna was selected to compete for a spot on the 2012 Olympic Team at the Olympic Trials in San Jose June 28-July 1.

Shawn Johnson will close out her illustrious gymnastics career, officially announcing her retirement from the sport on Sunday due to her lingering knee injury. In a conference call with the media, Johnson discusses her retirement and what lies ahead. Johnson was on the roster to compete at this week's Visa Championships in St Louis in an attempt to make a bid at her second Olympic team. That attempt is now over. Johnson is one of the most popular U.S. gymnasts of all time. Shawn Johnson will leave competitive gymnastics as one of the most popular and successful US gymnasts. Her career includes three world championship gold medals and four Olympic medals (one gold and three silver).
Nastia Liukin on Giving herself another Chance in 2012
Nastia Liukin achieved her biggest dream in gymnastics by winning the 2008 All Around title and coming away from Beijing with a total of five Olympic medals. Liukin recently made her comeback to the sport, competing for her first competition in three years at the Secret Classic and the Visa Championships. Liukin competed the two events she will be focusing on - bars and beam - at Visa Championships and was given the opportunity to compete at the upcoming US Olympic Trials in San Jose.
