Gabby is fun to watch and listen to. She is not a spaz, she is an excited 16yr old who is enjoying her experience. I was upset that Jorden WAS NOT given a yellow flag when she clearly stepped out of bounds on her floor routine yet Gabby was given the 3 tenth deduction for a little step after her faboulous vault. It was so obvious that powers that be don't want her to beat Weiber. As long as Gabby makes the team that is what matters. Go Gabby!

I love the competitive push Gabby, Ally @ Jordyn give each other. It is very reminiscent of the 2008 Olympic Journey. I wish her nothing but luck!!

most of the people that flock to Gabbys video with nothing but vitriol are people that come from "GymLIEtellers" blog where she is an open racist towards and black that shows an ounce of pride. Black should be seen and not heard as far as they are concerned. Gabby could win 6 gold medals in london, and the same haters will say "Oh look at how she's bragging about her gold medals" Total bullcrap! And it's very telling when someone says "I don't like her. I don't know why" MF you know EXACTLY why!

If you people find her annoying why do you listen to her interviews? just to have sth to complain about? You can always watch Aly's and Jordyn's interviews and hear them say that they've worked so hard, they are like sisters, and they want to do go 4/4.

Ditto-She is refreshing!! She is fun to watch and fun to listen to! She speaks from the heart and how she feels, not what she has been coached to say. I cannot fathom how you can't listen to her and root for her! She is a kid, she is excited and having FUN...can't say you can tell a lot of the other girls are having fun at all. GO Gabby, she will be a great representative of USA! That smile-look around, not a lot of other girls smiling like her, even when she is competing!

"anon me" is right...

I think its funny, that if she went into an interview and said the same boring "I just want to do my best...blah blah...hit all 8 events...blah blah" with a straight face these SAME people would say how boring she was or unemotional. The gymnasts are all individuals and its refreshing to see when it come out in interviews and stuff. Same goes for dance and choreography. if I read ONE more comment on how great one gymnast is and how horrible another is Im going to scream! Just because say, a russian gymnast flaps their arms and points their toes doesn't mean is ballet! its not dance either! its arm flapping! I think people are really looking at the body carriage -- they way you hold yourself, balletic curved arms or straight powerful arms etc...how they move, light and delicate vs sharp and powerful....... VERY few gymnasts actually DANCE in their routines. I can think of just a few in recent years (ana porgras, lilly pod in '96) other wise its all the same arm flapping just with different characteristics!!!!!

I am hoping that some of the individuals in this forum posting are really teenagers and not adults. because to dislike a 16 year old girl, or call her a spaz after competing and performing routines that the majority of us cannot even do in our wildest dream, is a little silly and disgraceful. this a young girl trying to get a spot to represent her country and all she gets venom. amazing
