I agree with you Anonymous Coward! I think she's a bit socially awkward. Even during the whole olympic journey she was nevr tht close to the other hopefuls. or her olympic teammates

to the person not buying anything because Gabby advertizes because she said she was bullied, and the bullying had racial overtones - really? I'm thinking you wouldn't have bought anything she recommended no matter what. Am I right? What if she sold white sheets? Bet you'd make a purchase then. Am I right?

Not buying anything this girl endorses. She is a nightmare and advertising poison!

It probably was a situation where the gym is focused on amasing as many top level gymnasts for jo nationals, elite nationals and college recruits. NOT being able to focus on training one or two girls to actually the TOP of the elite ranks. If it is your dream to be an olympian and work towards learning the harder vaults, bar releases , etc ... sometimes its JUST NOT POSSIBLE in your current situation - GREAT OR OTHERWISE. This could be the most positive gym EVER but the wrong fit. even the allegations that the other kids isolated her/bullied..its totally possible if those coaches are involved in coaching and not listening to what the kids are saying or doing (in the lockerroom, when they arent looking...) I used to work at a gym where the kids' psyche and self worth were worth WAY more than the actual routines and skills (to their detriment) and we used to have to deal ALL the time with fights and bullying type things, fighting over who was first in line etc

As for the money owed issue...she did file for bankruptcy. I wonder if that was one of the bills included.

or she felt uncomfortable there. Why is that an impossibility? She wasn't speaking in code. She said how she felt. Girls gymnastics is crazy. Why does that make her a bad person. It was bad enough for her to leave the gym.

Yes, I do agree. What a shame! It doesn't make sense. As a former elite coach, we live for young talent to walk through our door, not chase them out. Not hearing the whole story here.

Gabby will be making millions. Just give ExcaliburGym $50K her mother owes (interest, extras, and all) and be done with it. I think the bad guy/deadbeat here is Gabby's mom. She probably bailed when the debt was due or she didn't want to pay the amassing debt. Now she comes up with the BS bullying story. Gabby should hire a lawyer/financial planner to help protect her income from her family. Soon they all will be asking for Escalades.

I believe the "bullying seed" was planted by Oprah. Elite level......teen hormones....crazy parents......there will be jealousy. It happens everywhere in sports. Oprah wants rating.
Me, personally, I will not be buying anything that's Gabby. She's a turn-off. I believe many people will feel the same way after/if watching the Oprah interview. I hope Gabby disappear within the four years. Chow will always be Shawn Johnson's coach and I'm glad Chow has a few gymnasts in the making for 2016. Gabby is a huge turn-off.
If I needed a spokesperson, it would be Mckayla and Kyla, although Kyla is not turning Pro. Aly is too robotic.

I'm sorry but I kind of have the feeling that Gabby is the type of girl that doesn't get along with/relate to her peers very easily...anyone agree?
