I helped install the floor that Alex is using...its a spieth anderson spring floor with 1 1/2" foam floor strip. the red mat is a 3/4" hand mat used for accuracy. This floor is a bit harder to tumble on than our 40/40. just fyi

@ re: Jason from gymnastike.... are you talking about the sweet spot by tumble trak! No that is not an air mat of any kind. It is simple a red round off pad for vault or can be used to cover the beam for softening landings on arco skills. I assure you that triple is legit.

Are you sure that's not an air mat... It sure looked like one... Nevertheless very impressive.

@AC... though it is not the 40x40 it is the same spring and carpet bonded foam that is used with SA Floors which Aerial has which is more like the international floors. In terms of the round off mat/red sting mat, that only provides shock absorbtion to prevent over stress to achilles/leg stress. It doesn't add any more bounce or height to the skill. I have coached camps at Aerial and tumbled a bit on that floor trust me it is legit!

amazing, but that's not a competition spring floor... it's not 40x40 and that red mat gives him extra height
