BTW...those two Level 9s. Amanda Borden became an Olympic Gold Medalist. Karin Lichey is the only NCAA gymnast to ever score a perfect All Around...40.0.

The CGA "Book/Bible"! I remember the first time I met Mary Lee. Her top gymnasts were two Level 9s...Amanda Borden & Karin Lichey. We were drinking Long Island Ice Teas and she brought out her "book". I have never met anyone so organized and detailed. I thought at the time she was either going to be an amazing coach...or die young of a heart ache. Thank God, she has become one of our countries best coaches.

Is anyone else at all weirded out by the number of times that Mary Lee refers to her athletes as though they were objects, rather than people? It's subtle but happens a number of times throughout.
