Olympian turned celebrity, Shawn, has competed at the 2011 CoverGirl Classic and Visa Championships, and has her eyes set on the 2012 Olympics. The 2011 CoverGirl Classic was Shawn's first competition back since the Olympics. At the 2011 Visa Champinships, Shawn placed 4th on the Balance Beam with a combined score of 29.4 and placed 6th on the Uneven Bars with a combined score of 28.6. Shawn was named as the non-traveling alternate for the 2011 US World Team and was a member of the gold medal winning 2011 US Women's Pan American Team.
