Zhang Chenglong is a member of the 2012 Men's Chinese Olympic Team that will compete in London.
Zhang was the World High Bar Champion in 2010 and competed Floor Exercise and High Bar in the team finals in Rotterdam, helping his team to a gold medal.
His best event is high bar and he competes a routine with a difficulty score of 7.7, one of the highest in the world on the event.
Capable of scores beyond 16.5 on high bar, Zhang Chenglong is a strong contender to capture gold in London. He is also world class on parallel bars, and the reigning bronze medalist from Tokyo. The strong Chinese men's team will also be favorited to win in London.
Zhang was also a member of the 2011 Worlds Team, and has played a role in China's sweep of World and Olympic team titles from 2006 to present. In Tokyo, he won a bronze medal on parallel bars and a silver on high bar.
