Lauren is an elite gymnast who trains at Southern Tier Gymnastics in Warren Center, PA, under coaches Daile VanPatten and Michael Morse. Lauren was told in 2006 that she may not get to compete gymnastics again because of a disease in her elbows. But, after having two surgeries in 2006 and two in 2011, she was able to beat the odds and continue competing gymnastics. Upon high school graduation, Lauren will begin competing for the University of Alabama during the 2012-2013 season. Lauren has recently qualified to the 2012 Nastia Liukin Cup!
