In this week's gymnastics technique video, US National Staff coach and former US World Team member Sean Golden shows a progression of drills he uses to teach proper takeoff position in combination front tumbling, particularly front full to a front 1.5 twist.

Sean Golden is a former member of the Men's Senior National team and is a vault, floor, and rings specialist. He trains at Houston Gymnastics Academy under coach Kevin Mazeika.
At the 2008 Olympic trials, Sean was the Champion on vault, 3rd on floor, and 4th on rings. He was also US National Vault Champion in 2007. He's represented the USA at 2 World Championships, 2005 and 2007 as well as the Pan American Games in 2007.
Sean also coaches the girls team at Mazeika's Elite Gymnastics.
