In this week's gymnastics technique video, US National Staff Member Tammy Biggs shows a drill she does to teach proper arm positioning in sheep jumps and ring leaps. In the new code they've changed the ruling for sheeps - it's now full credit or no credit, so it's very important to do everything as technically correct as possible to ensure you are getting credit for the skill. Tammy shows where the arms should be in order to achieve the shoulder layback that judges are looking for.

crazy how something so simple as arm placement can make that big of a difference. I dont think I would have thought of that but it really makes sense. With sheeps being full credit or no credit now this is really good to know. thanks!
