I didn't follow the point of the Mohini story.

Results speak for themselves....verifications are to create environments where
each gymnast finds her best....it sounds like the training camps deserve to run the way they have evolved. It works....and when they find ways to improve...they will find those ways. Good interview!

I honestly find the whole verifying moves thing to be so stupid. The gymnasts should be able to train moves as long as they want to get them right. What's funny is the gymnasts mess up so often on their full turns. Might as well go for the double turn. I don't think the chance of botching the double is much less then the full. If they hit it, it's great. I guess they do make a fuss about turns the most though because you can fall off the apparatus. A turn on floor isn't as big a deal because you can botch it, but you won't fall. Anyhow, I feel they should train it as much as they want and then if they botch it in real competition a fuss can be made.
