Remember the great variety of floor routines for the gold medal winning ’96 Olympic team? Well, Geza Pozsar choreographed all of them. He talks about each routine and what it was like working with each of the 7 legendary girls.

Geza Pozsar was born in Romania. When he was 9 years old he was selected for the Ballet Academy of Cluj. At the Academy he graduated valedictorian with an excellent dance education. He later got into gymnastics choreography, which he says was by accident, but went on to work side by side with Bela Karolyi for the Romanian National Team.
In 1981, Geza and Bela defected to the US during the Nadia Commaneci exhibition tour. In 1982 he opened up Pozsar's Gymnastics. He continued choreography routines for Diane Durham, Kristie Phillips, Phoebe Mills, Chelle Stack, Betty Okino, Michele Campi, Kim Zmeskal, Larissa Fontaine, Jennie Thompson, Kristen Maloney, Alissya Beckerman, and Morgan White … plus, the entire 1996 gold medallist US Olympic Team. In addition, Geza has participated in four Olympic Games and eight world championships as a member of the Romanian and U.S. coaching staff.
