Alexander Shatilov of ISR - FX EF (Moscow 2009), 3rd, 15.250

Alexander Shatilov is a 2012 Olympian representing Israel. He has been a power on floor exercise throughout the quad, winning bronze medals at the 2009 and 2011 World Championships.

So far in 2012, Shatilov has continued to find success on floor, scoring as high as 15.9 with a difficulty rating of 6.7. He is among the top contenders for a medal in London on the event.

Shatilov is also an all-around gymnast, placing as high as tenth at the 2010 Worlds and 13th in 2011. He has been competing for many years, and reached a milestone for his country in 2006 when he became the first Israeli gymnast to qualify for an event final at a World Championships. He finished seventh on floor at those Worlds.

He continued to have good results, ending in fifth place on floor at the 2007 World Championships and in 8th at the 2008 Olympics.

Shatilov is a strong tumbler, mounting floor with a double full-in, pike out.
