2008 Beijing Olympic Games silver medalists Alicia Sacramone and Jonathan Horton of Houston and 2011 AT&T American Cup champion Jordyn Wieber appeared on NBCs Today Show Wednesday, July 27. The segment marks one year until the 2012 London Olympic Games opening ceremonies. Competition in gymnastics is scheduled to begin on July 28, 2012, with the mens qualification round at the North Greenwich Arena, site of the 2009 World Gymnastics Championships.

love joryn, have since she was like 9, haha. what a talent. kinda annoys me how she says every statment as if its a question though, haha. they need to work on her inflection

Such hokey and phoney questions from the Today Show folks. Would've been GREAT to see the gymnasts abandon the canned, rehearsed, robo-media responses, and just give three or four word responses to all the questions... one word answers or even just silent nods and/or shrugs when possible, creating a minute or two of painfully awkward television.
I know. I know. USAGym would have had a whole flock of ducks! These athletes would have placed themselves in the locked cellar of the "doghouse" if they'd pulled something like that.
Woulda been funny, though.
