Flash Back Friday returns with a look back at the Women's Team Competition at the 2007 World Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart Germany. The USA women's team battled Romania and China for the gold medal. This team was comprised of 4 newcomers to the world championships plus 2 veterans in Alicia Sacramone and Nastia Luikin. The competition came down to the last event where the USA pulled ahead of China to win the team gold medal.

I read Lisa's post wrong, I though she put FRA for France yes FRG is correct. So my bad for not reading it correctly.

Sydney- isnt it so true. That no one remembers it was Alicia who was the only one with a solid beam routine, Alicia who rallied everyone. Yet all people remember is Alicia's falls because we lost that one! :)

It's probably not a typo. According to wikipedia Federal Republic of Germany is Germany's official name.
