The best of the best are fighting to win the National Championships this weekend in in Los Angeles. Here's an inside look at the training day and the big skills that caught our eye.
Ashley Priess is an All-America NCAA gymnast at the University of Alabama. She clinched the Tide's sixth NCAA Championship title in 2012 by tying her career-high score of 9.95 on the balance beam in the Super Six Team Finals. Priess will return for a 5th season in 2013 after being sidelined with ankle injury in 2011.
Prior to college, Ashley spent seven years on the USA National team while training in the elite program at Cincinnati Gymnastics under coach Mary Lee Tracy. Priess was a member of the 2006 USA World Championship team, finishing 10th in the all-around and helping the U.S. to the silver medal.
