In 1988, in Coleman Coliseum, Alabama won their first ever SEC title. It was the first major trophy in the young program's history

2011 Alabama traded blows with UCLA for what must have seemed like the longest rotation of the season. At the end the Bama won the day and brought the trophy back to Tuscaloosa.

Kayla Hoffman is a former member of the University of Alabama gymnastics team and the 2011 Honda Award winner as the nation's top gymnast. During her senior season, she led the Crimson Tide to the 2011 NCAA, NCAA Regional and Southeastern Conference Championships, giving Alabama its first "triple crown" since 1988. Before Alabama, Kayla trained at Rebound Gymnastics in New Jersey and was a member of the US National Team from 2005- 2007.
