In this flashback episode with 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist Courtney McCool, Courtney takes us back to her time as a Georgia Bulldog. She talks about what it was like coming in as a freshman and having to adapt and become more open minded. Her sophomore year was a turn around for Courtney and she truly understood what college gymnastics was all about. She gives some stories from her sophomore year that help you to understand the impact that college had on courtney. She concludes with talking about the disappointment of not making to nationals as a team and qualifying as an individual.

Courtney McCool is a retired gymnast, now coaching at Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy.

As an NCAA gymnast, Courtney was an All-American and National Champion for the University of Georgia, winning three team titles (2007, 2008, and 2009), and was crowned 2008 NCAA Champion on floor exercise.

As an elite, she was a 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist with Team USA while training at GAGE under coaches Al and Armine Fong. McCool was the runner-up in the all-around at the Visa American Cup and at the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials.
