In this episode of Flash Back Interviews, 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist Courtney McCool takes us back to her Athens Olympic Experience. Starting from the pre-training camp through the Olympic Team Final, Courtney gives an emotional reflection on her experiences. Courtney didn't have the Olympic Individual competition she would have liked but was able to contribute in a different way. Her experiences were life changing and she is now linked forever with her 5 Olympic teammates.

Courtney McCool is a retired gymnast, now coaching at Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy.

As an NCAA gymnast, Courtney was an All-American and National Champion for the University of Georgia, winning three team titles (2007, 2008, and 2009), and was crowned 2008 NCAA Champion on floor exercise.

As an elite, she was a 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist with Team USA while training at GAGE under coaches Al and Armine Fong. McCool was the runner-up in the all-around at the Visa American Cup and at the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials.
