After 20 seasons at the University of Georgia and numerous team and individual national titles, Jay Clark has found a new home in the LSU Gymnastics program. Clark is the associate head coach, joining long-time coach D-D Breaux. Clark has made a huge impact on the team in his first year and made drastic improvements to their bar lineup which solidified their place in the Super Six today in Los Angeles.
Jay Clark is the Associate Head Coach and recruiting coordinator for the LSU Gymnastics Team. Clark spent the last three seasons as head coach at Georgia and joined the LSU gymnastics staff in 2012.
Clark spent 20 seasons at the University of Georgia where he helped guide the Gym Dogs to seven NCAA National Championships,12 Southeastern Conference titles, and 59 All-America honors on uneven bars as the primary coach for the event. He served as the recruiting coordinator from 1999-2009 before his promotion to head coach at Georgia.
