Yin is a former member of the Cuban National Team and is now gym owner and men's head coach at Universal Gymnastics in Miami. Universal is nationally recognized as a powerhouse for men's gymnastics, fielding numerous US National Team members including Edward Mesa and Yin's son, Dannel Leyva.
