Chris Brooks is a member of the US Senior National Team, and a 7-time All-American gymnast for the University of Oklahoma. He's a 3-time All-American on high bar and added All-America honors on Parallel Bars in 2008 and All Around, Floor Exercise and Vault in 2009.

At the 2012 Visa Championships, Brooks finished in a tie for fifth, making the US National Team and advancing to the Olympic Trials. His top event finishes came on rings (6th) and parallel bars (3rd tie).

At the 2012 Winter Cup, Chris placed 3rd on high bar, 4th on rings, and 5th AA. Chris was chosen as alternate for the 2012 American Cup. At the 2012 Kellogg's Pacific Rim Championships, Chris won the AA, still rings, and high bar, placed 2nd on pommel horse, 4th on floor, and 5th on parallel bars. Team USA also won gold.

At the beginning of 2011, Chris was chosen to be a member of the Team Hilton HHonors which is a team of male gymnasts who are sponsored by Hilton Worldwide. At the 2011 Visa Championships, Chris placed 2nd on High Bar, 3rd on Parallel Bars, 7th on Rings, 8th on Pommel Horse and 4th in the All Around. Chris was chosen as the alternate for the US Men's World Team that competed in Tokyo, Japan.

Before attending Oklahoma, Chris was a standout club gymnast. He was coached by Bill Foster at Houston North Gymnastics and spent four years on U.S. Junior National Team (1999-2001, 2003-05). He was a Vault finalist at the 2004 Winter Cup, tied for first in the all-around and won the vault, parallel bars and high bar at 2003 Junior Nationals, finished first on the high bar at the 2003 U.S. Championships, and also finished first on the high bar at the 2002 Junior Nationals and 2000 Junior Nationals.
