With a new Mental Edge Monday video up every Monday for a year, it was tough to pick a best one, but in this interview it's evident that Miss Val has a great grasp on what it takes to be confident and perform at the highest level in gymnastics, and she gives great examples of gymnasts who have excelled in the mental aspect of gymnastics at UCLA.
In this particular interview, Miss Val, Head Coach of UCLA Gymnastics talks about mentally tough gymnasts like Ariana Berlin and Kristin Maloney and about the power of the mind in gymnastics.

Ms. Val and Ari you guys are amazing! Ms. Val can you say your "my hero." Ari I remember one night during a show in riptide right before I was going into a double lay I caught your eye as I took my first step into the pass and I saw way back in 2005 the look of " I love gymnastics." What a treat it has been to watch you through your career at UCLA! Go Bruins!
