Alex is a member of the US Senior Men's National Team and currently a junior at the University of Oklahoma. Prior to competing for OU, Alex, trained at Arizona Flairs Gymnastics under his father, Mike Naddour.

In 2012, Alex competed at the Winter Cup, placing 6th on pommel horse, his specialty. Alex went on to the 2012 Visa Championships, where he took home gold on pommel horse and advanced to the Olympic Trials.

Alex qualified to his first US Senior National Team at the 2010 Winter Cup. Alex was the 2009 Level 10 JO National Champion (16-18) in All Around as well as on Pommel Horse.

During Naddour's freshman season at OU (2010), he was an All-American on Pommel Horse and in the All Around and during his sophomore season (2011), he earned the honors on Pommel Horse, Vault and in the All Around.

Alex was selected to represent the US at the 2010 Moscow World Stars competition, the 2010 and 2011 Japan Cup and the 2011 Stella Zakharova Cup. At the 2011 Winter Cup Challenge, Alex tied for 6th on High Bar, tied for 8th on Floor Exercise and Rings and placed 4th on Pommel Horse and in the All Around. At the 2011 NCAA Men's Championships, he tied for 1st on Pommel Horse, placed 3rd in the All Around, 8th on Vault and helped the OU Men's team win 2nd. At the 2011 Visa Championships, Alex placed 1st on Pommel Horse with a combined score of 31.1 and 7th in the All Around (175.85).

Alex was a member of the 2011 US Men's World Team which competed in Tokyo, Japan. The US men placed 3rd in the team final, missing the silver medal by only .01.
