Over the past couple months, Jake Dalton has turned 18, started college at the University of Oklahoma, and selected to represent the USA at the 2009 World Championships in London. Jake won the US Vault title at the 2009 US Championships in Dallas with his 7.0 start value kazamatsu double full. With the retirement of David Sender, Jake learned a new vault, verified it at the Senior camp in September, and was added to the team. Jake sat down with gymnastike contributor Amy Kleefisch to talk about competing at his first World Championships next week and the vaults he's planning to throw.
