We also attended the VISA championships; unfortunately Bridget was very stand offish, tried to hide when she went out, ignored people asking for autographs and was not pleasant on the floor either. you could watch all the other gymnasts making a wide berth around her-not who I want setting an example for my gymnast! Other gymnasts were going out of their way to be nice and always acted with respect for their competiters/coachs/event staff and media. These girls might not think people can see this kind of stuff but we can and if you didn't act that way in the first place you wouldn't have to worry. Lets bring team USA back to the fans and the future gymnasts. |

I heard she was a little lazy (compared to Pez). And I thought that she was graceless rejoicing for her team selection right next to a crushed Jana in 2008. But never heard antyhging else bad... |

Sorry just call them like we see them! Everyone around us at both venue's commented on her attitude towards everyone (including her own coach), it was bad! I don't want to see this influencing our up/coming gymnasts-they should follow the examples set by Sacramone, Bross, Davis, Larson and many others in this sport. We should be encouraging them to suceed-not driving them away. I don't agree i don't see her fitting in with Utah/Florida either (both upstanding teams) maybe UCLA. |

Bridget definately does a great interview, now if she would carry that into the gym with her. She definately has the holier than thou attitude towards everybody-it was shameful to see the way she acted at both Cover Girl/VISA towards all the others. I know she is threatened by them but take a page from Alicia's book and give them a run for their money, stop whining or go home (preferable). Also NO! NO! NO! NO! UGA has a reputation of having NICE (lets Bridget out) solid performers (again out) who work great with a team (oh my out again). There is no room for a self centered athlete in their program. |

She always seems like such a nice person. She takes everything in stride. A lot of gymnasts would be bitter to come in 4th (even though that's a great placing for her). I love her attitude and I hope she keeps working hard. |

It seems like she did get some encouragement to hang in there. Not sure really if she will make future teams. But I guess the most important thing is for her to take care of her body, to maximize her chances. Pec muscle partial tears can be a lingering injury. Kinda good that she is doing so well. |
